Welcome. The Department of Health (DOH) has been awarded approximately $120 million in grant funds to improve and protect the health of the residents of the District of Columbia. In many instances DOH enters into partnerships with community-based organizations and health-care providers to achieve our mutual health care objectives.

DOH encourages the participation of all organizations and individuals concerned with health care. In an effort to improve communications among residents, community-based organizations, and health care providers, DOH has posted the following information:

Grant Programs
This section provides a brief description of each grant program administered by the Department, who manages the program, and contact information.

Funding Opportunities
As a service to the health-care provider community, the Department of Health will maintain this site as a source of current discretionary funding opportunities available from the federal government, the Department of Health, and private sources.

Possible grant opportunites can be found through the Office of Partnerships and Grants Development
