The Air Quality Division of the Environmental Health Administration develops and implements plans and programs to
meet and maintain federal and District of Columbia air quality standards. The Division protects and manages the District's air resources in accordance with Title 20 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (20 DCMR) Air Pollution Control Act of 1984. The division's branches and programs are described below.
