2001 - 2002 In-School Program
The Aquatic Education Branch is pleased to announce its 2001 - 2002 in-school program.

Education Center
The Aquatic Resources Education Center (AREC) is a multipurpose educational facility located in Anacostia Park. Groups are encouraged to schedule visits to the Center.
The Center offers a variety of live exhibits of fish and other aquatic species from our local river environments. Scheduled visitors can be given a structured presentation on a particular subject matter related to the local environments.
The Center is operated by the Government of the District of Columbia's Fisheries and Wildlife Division. The Center evolved through a partnership between the Government of the District of Columbia, the National Park Service, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Visits to the AREC can be scheduled Monday through Friday during the school year. To schedule a visit please use the registration form* or call (202) 535-2260.
