Ever wonder where you can go fishing? Do you need a license to fish? Where are the hot fishing spots? Now there are answers to these questions. The (800) ASK-FISH telephone hotline was established in 1993 by the Sportfish Restoration Program. Now the program is managed by Bass Pro Shops, with the goal of making the service nationwide. The District of Columbia now participates in this hotline. To check the current conditions call 1-800-ASK-FISH.
