HAA monitors and develops the administration-wide budget for HIV/AIDS programs; coordinates all division work plans; directs all long and short range strategic fiscal planning; and, supervises the development, implementation and coordination of Districtwide HIV/AIDS policy recommendations and prevention initiatives.

The HIV/AIDS program supports the Citywide Strategic Priority area of Strengthening Children, Youth, Families and Individuals.
