Bioterrorism Surveillance Program
Currently the Department of Health (DOH) has a surveillance system in place that collects data from eight of the major hospitals within the district. This system is designed to identify possible high priority bioterrorism agents such as Bacillus anthracis, Yersinia pestis, Francisella tularensis, Clostridium botulinum.
