Completeness Review

When an application is received, the SHPDA staff reviews it for completeness within 15 workdays. The completeness review will proceed without difficulty if the applicant has been working closely with the SHPDA staffer assigned to the project.

If the application is incomplete, the SHPDA will send the applicant a list of questions. When answers are received, the SHPDA again has 15 workdays to evaluate the application. The SHPDA may base its decision to issue a Certificate of Need on the availability of requested information.
