Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
Certification and Distribution Requirements

Certification and distribution occur at the same location. No appointment is needed. All potential participants must bring:

  • Picture ID
  • Address verification (letter or bill)
  • Income verification (most recent pay stub, public assistance/Medicaid notice, social security statement)

In addition, each participant category must bring specific information:

Women

  • Pregnant- notification from doctor of delivery date
  • Postpartum- birth certificate of baby

Children

  • Birth certificate
  • Parental ID

Seniors

  • Age verification (ID or birth certificate)
  • Social security number

A potential client signs up at the site of their choice. Once a client has been certified and has received their CSFP ID card, they may immediately pick up the free food package. The whole process may take 30 minutes.
