Certification and distribution occur at the same location. No appointment is needed. All potential participants must bring:
- Picture ID
- Address verification (letter or bill)
- Income verification (most recent pay stub, public assistance/Medicaid notice, social security statement)
In addition, each participant category must bring specific information:
Women
- Pregnant- notification from doctor of delivery date
- Postpartum- birth certificate of baby
Children
- Birth certificate
- Parental ID
Seniors
- Age verification (ID or birth certificate)
- Social security number
A potential client signs up at the site of their choice. Once a client has been certified and has received their CSFP ID card, they may immediately pick up the free food package. The whole process may take 30 minutes.
