Sample Food Packages

The DC WIC Program provides vouchers that WIC customers use to purchase the items in the food packages listed below. While these food benefits are free to the customer, the “approximate cost benefit” indicates how much money a family could save by participating in the WIC Program.

Infants
0-6 months
Standard formulas:
  • Enfamil with Iron
  • Prosobee
  • Lactofree

    Alternative formulas given with a prescription by a physician.


  • 6-12 months
    Juice and cereal are introduced to the infant at 6 months.
